 B. Arc- 5 Year Level Program

As per the GGSIPU curriculum, the broad goal of the program is to pass on both theoretical knowledge and also practical skills to trainees to prepare them for an expert occupation in the field of architecture. The program is also created to fulfill the standards of the Council of Style for B.Arch. - the degree that fulfills the eligibility criteria for enrollment with the COA as an "Architect".

Academic Program (w.e.f. Academic Session 2018-19).

As per GGSIPU the duration of the B. Arch. program is 10 semesters i.e. 5 years. The Academic semester shall be devoted to 16 weeks of direction/ Mentor (consisting of course examination) work. The optimal duration needed for completion of the program shall be n +2 i. e. 7 years. A pupil shall have to earn all the credit scores specified in the Scheme of Training & Examination and also syllabi.


Promotion Plan to the Following School year (w.e.f. Academic Session 2018-19).

Upon affirmation of the outcomes of the semesters of a school year, a pupil falling short in any type of training course or training courses accumulating greater than 5-course credit scores will not be qualified for the promo to the succeeding school year. Architecture college Admission A pupil who has failed in programs accumulating equal to or greater than 6 credit scores will be eligible to repeat the stopped working programs in the succeeding university year. Such a pupil shall not be needed to duplicate any kind of training course that the pupil has currently completed efficiently.
